This version now has a compass fitted. This will keep the boat running straight without the wind, weight distribution or yaw effecting the direction the boat is travelling in. The boat will require calibration at each new swim its used at, its a single button press and takes less than 15 seconds. Here is a link to the video how to set the compass
Here with have the Boatman Actor Plus bait boat. Designed in the UK by 3 Carp anglers with a combined experience of many years. We worked on the extremely popular Actor as a starting point and made all the changes to make the perfect affordable bait boat . The boat has a large central hopper with a 3kg capacity, the centre hopper consists of 2 bomb bay doors which can be opened individually or together. Supplied with the boat is a hopper divider which will allow you to have 2 hoppers that can be controlled individually. The hoppers are opened and closed on the remote. There is also a hook release on the rear. The boat will come with a hopper cover to use when fishing with PVA pags in the rain. Supplied with 12 months Uk based warranty for piece of mind. The battery life is 2.5 hours play time with the 9ah battery supplied. The single handed remote allows you to hold your rod whilst taking the line out in the boat which is handy for feeling the lead down. The Actor Plus is screwed together rather than glued which makes it easier to service in the future (only to by opened by our authorised repairer during 12 month warranty period)
